At almost 400 years old, Hartford is one of the oldest cities in the United States and the Capital of Connecticut. Its nickname is "the insurance capital of the world." The Hartford Alumnae Chapter was originally chartered in 1953; after a bried period of inactivity, it was re-established in 2002.

Although charted in Hartford, our alumnae chapter has members from all across the state, including shoreline communities in New Haven county to central and northern parts of Connecticut.

Our goal is to be inclusive to all Thetas across Connecticut! We try to host events in various locations to best serve our members. Women in the Hartford Alumnae chapter volunteer their time with the state's 3 college chapters, serving on the advisory board of the UConn, Quinnipiac and Yale college chapters.
